Erica "EDE" Eubanks The Artist, The Writer, The Composer, The Producer

With a passion for singing developing as early as the age of five, from singing in the High School Chorus, The Gospel Choir and a successful performance at the Christmas Pageant, Erica Eubanks p.k.a EDE has arrived. This formerly hidden talent has emerged to stake her claim in the world of music. More important than looking to become an overnight sensation, Erica has worked steadily to perfect her craft with countless hours of preparation, dedication and focus.

While a countless number of individuals dream of making it big, Erica did not dream, she applied herself. Even through the rough times whereas it was hard for her to ascertain support for her aspirations, Erica persevered, as she knew inside that God was there by her side. Through countless hours of study as a student of Music Appreciation while in College, to appearing on stage with Steve Harvey at his annual talent show in Philadelphia in 2008, she knew that success would someday be hers.

In her debut into the music world she appeared as one of the main components of the successful group “DS 787”. There she was credited with developing their sound called “Jazzation”, a mixture of Jazz, Afro-centric and Club Rhythms.
While still appearing with the group her multi-talents were further celebrated through her appearance in the production of City Lights “Motown & Mo”.

Now with the release of her first solo project Erica has done it again. This self-entitled CD presents the magic that only Erica can accomplish. It covers a wide range of genres, which somehow work together to give the listener an outstanding and enjoyable collection of songs to be heard over and over again.

From the melodic “So Sweet” which celebrates all the greats of great music from past to present, to the club-influenced “Let’s Get It Together” featuring one of the founding fathers of Rap, Count Coolout. On to the infectious rhythms of the in-your-face style of “Kaboom” to the tantalizing and sensuous feel of “Should It Be Remix” a cover of one of the songs from The DS 787 project and the slow dance on the wall of the track “Want, Need” and more.

The CD entertains, Erica delivers and the listener will reach new levels of ecstasy each time they listen. She has a style of her own! Enjoy!
